Very reliable person

My two daughters have been in Patty's home daycare since they were 4 months old.  Patty genuinely cares about the children in her care and she treats them with love.  She is very easy to get along with and she adheres to all parent requests.  She provides a hot meal for her kids each day (along with snacks), and many indoor and outdoor activities in a loving home environment.  My oldest daughter recently started preschool and she was very prepared because of the learning environment that Patty provided.  She plays nursery songs for the kids and occasionally educational videos.  She is very good with babies and makes sure each child has a separate room to nap in so they get good sleep.  Patty is someone you can trust to care for your children and I would recommend her to any family.

Look no further

Finding the right daycare for our daughter was very challenging.  We interviewed many daycare providers in the Burke area.  We thought we'd never find the right person, until we met Patty.  After the initial phone conversation, she set aside time to talk to us, put us at ease, and answered all of our questions.  We felt an immediate connection with Patty. That connection has only grown stronger over the last 4 years.  We consider her family!
Our daughter can't wait to see Patty each day.  She RUNS to her front door, eager to see her, and her playmates. She is always greeted with a smile and a hug. Patty provides a safe and loving atmosphere.  Our daughter has thrived in her care.
Have I mentioned Patty's cooking abilities?  Each day, Patty prepares delicious, nutritious meals.  Our daughter wants me to take cooking lessons from Patty. Her special lima bean rice recipe is a favorite. Our daughter has been introduced to different foods, which she absolutely loves. We are sad to leave Patty's daycare, but our daughter is now in preschool.  When we told our daughter that she would no longer be going to Patty's Daycare, she cried. We will be forever thankful to Patty for helping us raise our daughter into the sweet little girl she is today. If you are looking for a safe, loving, daycare, look no further!

Angel sent from God

To whom this may concern,

Ms. Patty is an angel sent from G-D, she has been wonderful, friend and mother to my daughter. Each night when I pick up my daughter she is smiling, laughing and full of joy and that is because Ms. Patty ensured all her needs were taking care of. In addition, Ms. Patty worked on my daughter’s education by encouraging her to learn numbers and letters through games/toys. Ms. Patty also provided my daughter with healthy home cooked food every day. However, the most wonderful and most important aspect of Ms. Patty is that she allowed me to not worry about my daughter while I was at work, which key to me being successful at my job. I am so grateful that my daughter had the opportunity to be cared by Ms. Patty.

Sincerely,

Meredith

Completely trusted

Dear Parent,

Patty has taken care of our daughter, Leila, for over a year now - since Leila was just 11 weeks old – and we would highly recommend using her for your child's day care. Patty is great and very attentive with babies, and Leila certainly loves her. Patty is also very communicative with us, a quality that was particularly important to us when we were searching for child care.

Patty is great about letting us know how Leila's day was, any issues, and whether she needs anything for the next day. She also occasionally gives us tips at different stages - only if you want it; she doesn't force it if you're not interested - as Patty is much more experienced with babies than we are.

If she notices any new behaviors or stages, she lets you know and you can compare notes. Also, if one parent drops off your child and the other one picks him/her up like we do, Patty does a good job of making sure everyone is on the same page. We completely trust Patty with Leila's safety. She carefully monitors babies when they play together-especially if there is an age difference - to make sure they don’t pull hair, poke eyes, or bite. She also keeps them away from stairs and other dangerous places. One day Patty was concerned with a bruise that Leila had on her forehead. We made sure she knew that Leila got that bruise when she took a tumble at our house - not at Patty's

Another issue that is important   to us is that Leila is fed healthy, nutritious meals; we want to stay away from sugar and processed foods for as long as we can. In the beginning, Patty thawed frozen breast milk for her, and when the time came, we brought in homemade pureed baby food. When Leila got old enough for finger food, Patty started feeding her the hot, nutritious and delicious meals that she makes every day for the older kids, as well as fresh fruit for snacks. Patty also occasionally sends us home with a huge plate of Persian food - a super delicious and much unexpected bonus to her daycare

We recommend Patty as a great day care provider. We would love for Leila to have a new playmate, too. Please give us a call if you would like to talk to us about our past year's experience with Patty. We hope to see you soon!

Best,

Mike. and Sandra. Wildman

Natural care

To whom it may concern:

I returned to work when my baby, Jacie, turned four months old. Just the thought of being away from her made me have anxiety. I went to three different daycares around my neighborhood to find the best care of my daughter. They were all friendly and legitimate but it was costly. Also, I was worried that my daughter would not get the one on one attention that she deserves. Therefore, my husband and I looked for an alternative solution.

We were browsing through our local conservancy newspaper and called several day care providers. We interviewed them and they were okay but my husband and I were not convinced until we met Patty. As soon as Patty welcomed us into her house, she asked to carry Jacie and she seemed to have a natural way of comforting a child.

Patty seemed flexible and she had numerous references. I was a little hesitant to trust a complete stranger but we took a chance. The five months that we have been with Patty, she has always been professional and reliable. There has never been a time when we go pick Jacie up to hear her crying. The transition from staying home to going back to work was tough but Patty made it less difficult.

Patty is kind and caring and she genuinely loves children. We would love to stay with Patty longer but due to my work, we are moving out of the area. We hope that when we return if Patty will be available to take care of Jacie again. If you have any questions, please feel free to call me at (323) 356-1330.

Reference letter

Patty has cared for our Children Alex and Amy, from the time they were 13 weeks old until their third birthday. She was always attentive to their needs as well as our special requests. We have always felt that our children were truly loved while in Patty’s care.

Patty is very conscious of the nutritional needs of the children in her care. She regularly provides hot home cooked meals for all of the children. We could always rest assured that our children were getting a balanced diet which included a variety of fruits, vegetables and meats and the children loved her food, especially her soup.

We have always found Patty’s home day care setting to be extremely loving, warm and caring. It is the perfect environment for nurturing your growing infant and toddler.

Sincerely,

Peg and Bob F

Kind and Very Loving

Dear Parents,

We would like to recommend Patty’s Child care to those looking for daycare for their children. Our son has been with Ms. Patty for 3.5 years and our daughter has been with her for seven months. With our son, we had a challenging time finding the right fit, but once we met Ms. Patty we were comfortable and confident in our choice.

She helped to get our difficult napper onto an excellent nap schedule, and greatly assisted during the time he was an infant. Her cooking is outstanding, and she introduced our son to such a variety of foods, he now eats almost anything – but frequently requests what he calls “Patty rice.” When he was a toddler patty helped to teach him manners, colors, numbers and alphabet.

Now that he is older, Patty facilitates art projects, has instructed him in yoga and is teaching him about healthy eating – all of which our son loves. Further, our son has formed a strong bond not only with Ms. Patty, but with other children under her care. We have no doubt they will be lifelong friends.

Our daughter has thrived under Ps. Patty’s care, and always greets Ms. Patty with a huge smile on her face each morning. She enjoys going to her house so much.

Ms. Patty is kind and very loving, and cares for the children as if they were her own. She is flexible and reliable.  We also appreciate that she continues to take classes to improve her childcare program and to stay current with certifications.

We are sad to leave Ms. Patty but are relocating due to a job cange. We wish you and her all the best!

Sincerely,

Lauren and Chris
